Most prestigious multi-use facility in Portugal`s south
The Algarve stadium, located between the towns of Faro and Loulé, is part of an urban development project currently in progress in the region. The stadium`s central stands are evocative of ships`sails in homage to the Portoguese Discoveries, which beganin the Algarve.
The stadium, with a capacity of 30.000, was opened on 1 January 2004. Siteco supplied and installed SiCOMPACT R2 MAXI floodlights and DL 500 and City Light luminaires in modern design.
