Light Clubbing
One of the best known viennese clubs is situated directly under the ring road and was once upon a time a run-down pedestrian subway. As the company Sunshine Enterprises discovered the Babenberger Passage a little over a year ago, the tunnel had been empty for some time. But in the mean time the tiled catacomb has transformed itself into a sophisticated Space Lounge.
The viennese architects Söhne&Partner designed the interior, Siteco Austria supplied the appropriate illumination. Custom-built recessed luminaires with opal enclosures form a geometric ornament of light on the ceiling while hidden battens accentuate the architecture. Controlling via DMX stage technology allows for varying moods of illumination.
