Safe and Low glare Lighting

Siteco utilized the Mirrortec secondary reflector system in the pool area.

The multi facetted, Fresnel lens of the mirrors ensures that the intense floodlight beam is spread over a large surface area, reducing glare on the water surface and from direct view into the mirror. furthermore, the 'sparkle' effect generated from the Fresnel lens also adds interest and decoration to the lighting in the swimming pool area.

The mini projectors were positioned on the side walls for easy, low cost maintenance with minimum disruption to pool use. The upward light component was allowed to overspill around the Mirrors to create some interest and mood to the corrugated roof structure and laminated roof trusses.

The library utilised Circular LUNIS downlights in surface, suspended and recessed forms with frosted glass.
