Focal Point Luton

With the redevelopment of Luton town centre, the public meeting area, St. George's Square, needed a facelift at night.  Siteco's expertise with secondary reflector systems provided soft illumination for the public walkways and meeting areas whilst creating an eye-catching visual focus for the town.

St. George's Square, surrounded by restaurants and bars, is the natural meeting place in Luton.  When designing a lighting solution for the area, light control was a top priority as excess light spill would have detracted from the colourful ambience of the buildings along the site.  Secondary reflector systems provide precise light distribution from one lighting point, thus preserving the views across the public space and providing a focal point to this large open area.
