The asymmetrical distribution floodlights of the SiCOMPACT A2 family are available in three construction sizes. With horizontal alignment of the light emission aperture, the illuminated area can be lit so that less than 3% stray light is emitted to the upper hemisphere. A highly specular anodised aluminium reflector creates efficient light distribution with either narrow asymmetric (A2 MIDI, A2 MAXI) or wide asymmetric (A2 MINI, A2 MIDI, A2 MAXI) distribution. The floodlights can be precisely adjusted in 5° steps for exact illumination of the application area. Integral twist protection permanently fixes the luminaires.
HIT, HST and QT lamps with varying output can be used. The MINI and MIDI construction sizes are also available with innovative LED light sources with optics for road lighting. With the A2 MINI and A2 MIDI construction sizes, control gear and ignitors are integrated in the luminaire and separated from the lamp compartment.
All three construction sizes can be equipped with an ignitor for instant hot re-ignition, enabling the luminaire to be used for sports arenas and places of competition and also in high-security areas.
