The asymmetric distribution floodlights of the SiCOMPACT® A2 family in construction sizes MINI and MIDI are suitable for both sophisticated architectural lighting and for standard-compliant and energy-efficient lighting of town squares. With horizontal alignment of the light emission aperture, the illuminated area can be lit so that less than 3% stray light is emitted to the upper hemisphere. A highly specular anodised aluminium reflector ensures efficient light distribution with either narrow asymmetric or wide asymmetric distribution. HIT, HST and QT lamps with varying output can be used. In addition an efficient LED system with optics for road lighting is available. The floodlights can be precisely adjusted in 5° steps for exact illumination of the application area. Integral twist protection permanently fixes the luminaires. Control gear and ignitors are integrated into the luminaire and are separated from the lamp compartment. In addition the floodlight can be equipped with an ignitor for instant hot re-ignition, enabling the luminaire to be installed for sports arenas and competition locations and also in high-security areas.
