When Siteco brought the first ever trunking system to market 30 years ago, the lighting of interior spaces for industrial and commercial uses was revolutionised.

For the first time an end-to-end lighting system was available where light was arranged on one level. Lighting was therefore detached from existing spacial peripheries. Even at that time the trunking rail with integrated wiring was easy to maintain in comparison with conventional lighting solutions. Through-wiring was made possible. The number of mounting points were reduced.

The new Modario trunking system redefines the world of trunking systems. It is equipped with Multipower technology, offers a maximum of design flexibility with its 299mm module size and is based on highly efficient T16 lamping technology. A greater level of planning safety is offered (with respect to the european 2002/91/EG standard) due to the possibility of various wattages and an energy-conserving lamp technology.

Optical solutions with a variety of reflectors, design variations with High Definition Prismatics reflectors (HDP) as well as rotatable rail connectors also bear witness to a maximum of innovation and flexibility. Another plus is the possibility of integrating a Power Module with prism optics, having an especially high level of light output. Up to 10-core wiring allows for the possibility of integrating mains power, emergency power, lighting control or two separate power supplies.
