Silica®, workplace luminaire for flexible office designs
Version:
with CAT 2 matt louvre | indirect/direct distribution
Features

The luminaires of the Silica® family are characterised by a minimalist design. The special construction allows alignment directly above computer screen workstations and parallel to building axes.
This is achieved by dividing the luminaire body into three parts. End modules feature a semi-specular CAT 2 louvre for direct and indirect light. The central module consists of an indirect distribution aluminium reflector for harmonious light distribution to the room.

Special features
  • for flexible office layouts, luminaires can be arranged parallel to building axes
  • positioning directly above workstations possible due to purely indirect distribution central module
  • combination of spacial and task area lighting
  • purist housing design with seamless transition between end modules and central module
  • less mounting points and high energy saving: a Silica® substitutes up to six louvre luminaires
Housing

Housing of extruded aluminium with metallic grey (RAL 9006) diecast zinc end caps | louvres of end modules are mounted without tools and fixed in luminaire housing with catches; these are secured with safety retaining cords and earthed for protection even when hinged downwards
