The damp-proof diffuser luminaires of the FR-Ex family have been designed for special ambient conditions in environments with danger of explosion. A robust housing of glass-fibre reinforced plastic, an impact-resistant pearl diffuser of PC and a special sealing system provide protection against extreme temperatures, critical humidity conditions and aggressive ingress of dust. The precise workmanship and high quality materials qualify the luminaire for an IP65 protection rating with insulation class 2. The extremely wide distribution luminaires with ceiling illumination have been optimised for use with T26 fluorescent lamps.
