Siteco has developed the direct / indirect beam custom luminaire "LIGHTSHELF For Vitality" for a pilot project in an assembly hall at the Wolfsburg works of Wolkswagen.
The principle:
the direct light beam component is directed via an ELDACON® prismatic structure (patented by Siteco) towards the working area, free of glare. The ELDACON® microprismatic technology makes possible above all other technologies high levels of illuminance with a complete absence of glare. The indirect component is reflected via large-scale white reflector sails into the space. 5 x T16 80W lamping ensures illuminance levels of 2000 lux. This means that the "LIGHTSHELF For Vitality" luminaire system is particularly suitable for uses in industrial assembly plants with 24-hour shift.
